I do, but it seems we may never find them, Riley said frowning slightly. She loved her Minta and Kumi! Me too! Unless it's a crier..If it's a crier..gah..

"I bet they know they're in trouble and just don't want to come back," Damien muttered bitterly. He changed his tone when he saw Riley's expression,"But once they get hungry they'll be coming back." Damien groaned,"I HATE criers. Thankfully I can sleep through near anything so when we babysit you can deal with it," he sighed content with his solution.

I'm sure, Riley agreed, but she gave a sharp whistle just incase the dogs decided they wanted to be found. Oh really? she asked, giving Damien a sharp jab to the ribs. That is sooo caveman attitude.

"Kumi!!! Minta!!! Want a bone?" Damien yelled,"If they heard that maybe they'll come around," he thought out loud. He rubbed his ribs,"Takes one to know one," he snickered.

The underbush seemed to come to life as the leaves rustled and twigs on the ground snapped. Damien had discovered the trick to getting Minta and Kumi to come back. You did it! She yelled happily turning to hug him, and then scowling at the dogs. Obviously, I can't be a caveman, since, well, I'm not a man.

Kumi ran to Damien, his head drooping as he came. he layed down on his belly and crawled the last few inches to Damien's feet,"Yea you know what you did," Damien scolded. he grabbed Kumi by the scruff of the neck and knelt down so he could look at his face,"You stay close!" he glared at Kumi, who was avoiding eye contact. When Damien let him go he crawled to Riley trying to suck up to her. Damien stood up and sighed at how pittiful Kumi looked,"Well okay I guess you aren't a cave-MAN, how about a cave-woman?"

A grin lit up Rileys face when the two dogs trotted into site. Aminta was tall, lanky, and stood a good several inches higher than Kumi off the ground. Despite her large size she made up for it in grace and poise, something Kumi really lacked. Giving the girl dog a stern look Riley broke into a grin again when Minta's tongue lolled out of her mouth in a goofy grin. Although she did follow Damien's lead in telling her to stick close. Crouching down to pet Kumi, Riley kissed the dogs forhead and scratched behind his ears. She couldn't stay mad at them if she needed to. Cave...NOTHING. Silly goose, she told Damien.

Kumi sighed and pushed himself up. He leaned on Damien's leg giving him his puppy eyes. Damien crossed his arms and sighed,"I thought husky's had SOME self respect," he caved in and patted Kumi on the head,"I won't go easy on you if you take off again though," he muttered. "Fine, fine," he shrugged,"So if you're not a cave-something what are you? And if you say a princess or something me and Kumi will have to eat you cuz well...that's what cavemen do!"

Damien's face flushed,"Yea but...don't go yelling about it! I don't want the world to think I've gone soft over some puppy eyes." He nodded his head,"Yea that's a good one, I guess we won't be having you for lunch today."
